Robbery at Lake Murray Cafe PDF Print E-mail
On 02/17/12 at approximately 9:45 PM, two male suspects robbed employees at the Lake Murray Café located at 5465 Lake Murray Boulevard in La Mesa. One of the suspects was armed with a silver handgun.

The suspects entered the restaurant and forced three employees into the kitchen. When the suspects were unsuccessful in opening the business safe, they demanded cash from all of the employees. The employees complied, giving the suspects the cash they had on their person. The suspects were last seen running westbound away from the business.

Officers searched the surrounding areas but were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspect #1 is described as a black male, medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, black gloves, black pants, black shoes, with a white covering over his face.

Suspect #2 is described a black male, medium build, wearing a dark hoodie, black gloves, black pants, black shoes, with a white covering over his face.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the La Mesa Police Department.
