A suspect that claimed to be armed robbed the 7-11 located at 4253 Palm Avenue.

On February 5th, at about 2:51AM, the La Mesa Police Department received a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the 7-11 located at 4253 Palm Avenue. An employee reported that the suspect entered the store, approached the counter, and simulated holding a gun beneath a towel. The suspect then announced that he was robbing the store and demanded cash. The suspect fled eastbound on Echo Drive in a small dark colored vehicle. The employee was not injured.
