Man robbed at Gunpoint for IPod PDF Print E-mail

On January 17th, at approximately 9:30 PM, the LMPD received a report of a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Highwood Park, located at 7777 Junior High Drive.  The 23 year old male victim was walking in the parking lot when he was approached by a black male juvenile. The juvenile displayed a large caliber semi-automatic handgun and demanded that the victim empty his pockets onto the ground.  The suspect told the victim to run away from the area, which he did. The suspect was last seen running westbound on Junior High Drive towards Parks Avenue. The loss was the victim’s IPod and the victim was not injured. The victim ran home before calling the police. A search of the area by LMPD and San Diego A.B.L.E. was negative for the suspect. The suspect is still outstanding.

 

The suspect was described as a black male juvenile, 16-17 years old with a thin build. The suspect had black afro style hair that was about one inch in length. The suspect was wearing a red and black hoodie with numbers on the front and jeans. The weapon was described as a large caliber semi-automatic handgun.
