Two Armed Men Steal Laptops at Gunpoint From Best Buy PDF Print E-mail
On November 22, 2011, at approximately 6:58 pm, La Mesa Police received a call of a robbery that had just occurred at the Best Buy store located at 8401 Fletcher Parkway, La Mesa.  An employee said that two Hispanic male adults had just stolen two laptop computers from the business at gunpoint.  Both suspects entered the business, took two laptops and began to walk out of the store without paying. When an employee confronted the pair, one displayed a handgun and told the employee to get out of their way. They then ran out the front door, across Fletcher Parkway and got into a red Chevrolet Camaro convertible that fled the area.  A customer setting up his chair in front of the business in anticipation for a Black Friday sale was able to give descriptions of both suspects and vehicle. La Mesa Police with the assistance of a San Diego Police helicopter searched the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful. No one was injured during the incident.

 

A short time later, the vehicle that was possibly involved in the incident, was located unoccupied at 7908 El Cajon Bl.  The investigation is on going.

 

The suspects are described as:

 

Suspect #1: Hispanic male adult, 20’s, 6’0”, 180 Lbs., wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt with a white, “Fox” emblem and a green “Monster” emblem, black jeans and black & white shoes.

 

Suspect #2: Hispanic male adult, 20’s, 5’11”, 200 Lbs., wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with a white “South Pole” emblem, back jeans, black & white shoes. He was holding a black semi-auto handgun in his left hand while holding the stolen computers in his right hand.
