Man Robs Dennys with Simulated Handgun in La Mesa PDF Print E-mail
On November 16, 2011, at about 1:32 PM, a man robbed the Denny’s Restaurant at 4235 Spring Street, La Mesa.  The suspect presented a note demanding money and simulated a handgun under his clothing during the robbery.  The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.  No one was injured during crime.

 

The suspect was described as a white male, 30-35 years old, 6 foot tall, 200 lbs., wearing a green hat, beige colored pullover sweatshirt and jeans.  The suspect was last seen running across the street toward a large apartment complex.  No vehicle was seen.  ASTREA and a SDSO K-9 responded with La Mesa Police Officers but the suspect was not found.
