| Arco Station Robbed at Gun Point |

On 10-01-11 at approximately 10:24 P.M., La Mesa Police Officers responded to a report of a silent robbery alarm at the Arco Station, located at 4925 Spring Street in the City of La Mesa. When officers arrived they discovered the Arco Station had been robbed at gun point. The clerk reported that two suspects entered the store and posed as customers until the other customers in the store had left. Suspect #1 then approached the register and pulled a black semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and pointed the gun at the clerk. Suspect #1 demanded money from both registers and cigarettes from the sales rack behind the register. The clerk gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money from the registers and several packs of Newport cigarettes. During the robbery, Suspect #2 stood outside the front doors of the store as a look out. The suspects were last seen running away south on Spring Street. The store clerk was not injured and the identity of the suspects is not known. Suspect #1: A black male, 25 years old, 5’ 9”, 170-185 pounds and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. Suspect #2: A black male, 25 years, 6’ 1”, 160-170 pounds and clean shaven.
