At 9:50 AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2011, La Mesa Police Dispatch received a 911 call of an attempted robbery that just occurred in the parking lot near the Bank of America at Grossmont Center in La Mesa.  The female victim was walking from her parked car toward the Bank of America. The female victim was carrying her deposit bag.  The suspect was described as a Black male adult, 5-10 to 5-11, thin build, wearing a yellow and black baseball cap, a tank top (unknown color), yellow and black short pants, knee high white socks and Nike tennis shoes.
