| La Mesa Police Investigate Report of Kidnapping and Sexual Assault |

Update: This is an update to the reported abduction of a 15 year-old girl from the Grossmont Trolley station in La Mesa on Monday morning. La Mesa Detectives are continuing their investigation of this case, which has included a review of video surveillance tapes of the Grossmont Trolley Station. The surveillance information was provided by Metropolitan Transit System Security staff, who have been working closely with La Mesa Detectives on this investigation and have provided valuable information in the investigation. While a review of the surveillance information shows no evidence of the victim being abducted from the Grossmont Trolley Station, the investigation is continuing in an effort to determine all the facts and identify any suspects involved in crimes committed against the victim, either in La Mesa or elsewhere. The La Mesa Police Department is investigating a report by a 15 year-old female that she was taken against her will by three adult Hispanic males from the Grossmont Trolley station at 8601 Fletcher Parkway, La Mesa. The incident occurred at 7:45 AM and lasted until 1:00 PM, when the three suspects took her back to the Grossmont Trolley station and released her. The juvenile reported she was sexually assaulted in the suspect’s car during the time she was abducted, in unknown locations.
The victim rode the trolley back to her home in San Diego and later reported the incident to her mother, shortly after 5:00 PM. The victim did not have any physical injuries. The victim is deaf and did not hear anything from the suspects. No weapon was seen. Detectives responded to investigate the incident and the investigation is ongoing.
Suspects’ descriptions: Three Hispanic male adults wearing dark clothing and driving a black car.
