On August 22, 2010, at about 8:01 PM, a 57 year old woman was robbed by two male, juvenile suspects while leaving the 5-Star Market, located at 7495 University Avenue, La Mesa.  The victim was walking through the parking lot after making a purchase and while one of the suspects asked for a light to a cigarette, the other suspect ripped her purse from her shoulder.  Both suspects then ran away on foot.  No weapon was seen or mentioned.  The victim was not injured in the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Two black, male juveniles, approximately 16-17 years old:  (#1) was wearing a white T-shirt and dark shorts.  (#2) was of thin build, had a “frizzy” pony tail and was wearing a all dark clothing .
